Hartman Homecoming | Mainstage Performance
Monday, June 7 from 6:15 pm at Hickory Community Theatre
HICKORY – “Hartman,” the husband & wife combo featuring singer/songwriters Jeff & Carol Anne Hartman, double-bassist Forrest Brown, percussionist Brian Burton, and guitarist Jeremy Shaw will appear on the mainstage with a colorful assortment of regional talent for Hickory Community Theatre’s annual, sell-out Vacation Extravaganza fundraising event on Monday, June 7 from 6:15 pm.
“Holy anniversaries, Batman! It’s been ten years?! We’ve had a love affair with HCT since we married on the set of their Y2K mainstage production of ‘Camping with Henry & Tom.’ Any hometown opportunity to give back to the theatre and the community is an absolute joy for us.”
Carol Anne most recently won Hickory Rotary Club’s “Rotarian Idol” contest. Jeff has been performing with his wife and band for over a decade across the country, exemplified by the latest album, “Better Live,” celebrating the decade with live, original tracks from Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre to The CoMMA. The popular faith-based group recently turned in “An Evening of Worship,” graciously hosted by Harvest Bible Chapel, Newton-Conover Auditorium’s “Music & Mud” festival, and sold out a concert in HCT’s Firemen’s Kitchen for John Rambo and Jimmy Rhine’s 2009 Summer Concert Series.
Vacation Extravaganza guests will have an opportunity to bid in an auction for a performance by the group. Tickets are not available at the door and must be purchased in advance by visiting hickorytheatre.org or calling 828-327-3855. For more information about Hartman, please visit jshartman.com.
