Bright Star Music Director Jeff Hartman reunites with his alma mater’s theatre program to discuss theatre and Bright Star, led by Tara Blake Hatton.
Celebrate summer on Friday, July 19, 2019, for the next in this year’s series of Hickory Arts house concerts featuring singer/songwriter Mckenna Haislip with Jeff Hartman. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online at hickoryarts.com/mckennahaisliphouseconcert. Only 30 seats are available. Tickets will not be sold at the door. Doors open at 7:30 pm for an “eat & greet” with the artist. The performance begins at 8 pm.
10th Anniversary All-Stars Rotarian Idol
Bright Star is a musical written and composed by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell. It is set in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina in 1945-46 with flashbacks to 1923. The musical is inspired by their Grammy-winning collaboration on the 2013 bluegrass album Love Has Come for You.
An acoustic Hartman performance featuring Jeff & Carol Anne
A variety show featuring Molly and EXTRA-special guests, including Jeff Hartman with Phillip Whack on sax. Donations will be accepted for the TAG Grant through the United Arts Council.
